# Bulk-generate QR Codes (v2 templates)

> POST /bulk-operation/generate/v2/

Creates many QR Codes from an uploaded sheet using v2 (theme-based) templates, asynchronously, on the **Management API** host (`api.scanova.io`), authenticated with your raw Management API key.

```
POST https://api.scanova.io/bulk-operation/generate/v2/
Authorization: 401f7ac837da42b97f613d789819ff93537bee6a
```

<ParamField body="name" type="string" required>
  A label for this operation, shown in [List bulk operations](/api-reference/management-api/bulk-operation/list).
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="file" type="file" required>
  The filled-in sheet — same template-QR-from-first-row convention as [Bulk-generate QR Codes](/api-reference/management-api/bulk-operation/generate). `url`, `gs1`, and `ai` category templates are rejected here.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="theme_id" type="integer">
  An active theme's id to apply to the generated QR Codes.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="folder" type="integer">
  A folder id to save the generated QR Codes into.
</ParamField>

<RequestExample>
  ```bash cURL theme={null}
  curl -X POST "https://api.scanova.io/bulk-operation/generate/v2/" \
    -H "Authorization: 401f7ac837da42b97f613d789819ff93537bee6a" \
    -F "name=September event QR batch" \
    -F "file=@event-qrs.xlsx" \
    -F "theme_id=4"
  ```
</RequestExample>

<ResponseExample>
  ```json 200 theme={null}
  {
    "operation_id": "bo-9a1b2c",
    "message": ["Your file is being processed. We'll email you once it's ready."]
  }
  ```
</ResponseExample>

Same asynchronous pattern as [Bulk-generate QR Codes](/api-reference/management-api/bulk-operation/generate): poll [List bulk operations](/api-reference/management-api/bulk-operation/list) for `status`/`progress`, then `result_file`/`log_file`.

`400` for an invalid file/columns, an unsupported category (`url`, `gs1`, or `ai`), or exceeded quota. `403` if the account lacks the `BULK_OPERATION` quota, has an inactive plan, or lacks `BULK_OPERATION_CAN_GENERATE` permission.
