# Run a bulk quick action

> POST /bulk-operation/quick-action/

Applies one quick action to many QR Codes at once, asynchronously, on the **Management API** host (`api.scanova.io`), authenticated with your raw Management API key.

```
POST https://api.scanova.io/bulk-operation/quick-action/
Authorization: 401f7ac837da42b97f613d789819ff93537bee6a
```

<ParamField body="operation" type="string" required>
  One of `apply_design`, `organize`, or `delete`.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="qr_id_list" type="array">
  Specific QR ids to act on. Alternatively use `filter`, `search`, or `bulk_op_id` — same targeting options as [Bulk-download QR Codes](/api-reference/management-api/bulk-operation/download).
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="filter" type="object">
  A saved filter selecting which QR Codes to act on, as an alternative to `qr_id_list`.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="search" type="string">
  A search term selecting which QR Codes to act on, as an alternative to `qr_id_list`. `"all"` selects every owned QR Code.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="bulk_op_id" type="string">
  An existing bulk operation's `operation_id` — act on the QR Codes that operation generated.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="pattern_info" type="string">
  Required when `operation` is `apply_design` — the design pattern data to apply.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="folder" type="integer">
  Required when `operation` is `organize` — the destination folder id, which must belong to this account.
</ParamField>

<RequestExample>
  ```bash cURL theme={null}
  curl -X POST "https://api.scanova.io/bulk-operation/quick-action/" \
    -H "Authorization: 401f7ac837da42b97f613d789819ff93537bee6a" \
    -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
    -d '{
      "operation": "organize",
      "qr_id_list": ["a1b2c3d4", "e5f6g7h8"],
      "folder": 12
    }'
  ```
</RequestExample>

<ResponseExample>
  ```json 200 theme={null}
  {
    "operation_id": "bo-qa-001",
    "message": ["Your request is being processed. We'll email you once it's ready."]
  }
  ```
</ResponseExample>

Asynchronous — poll [List bulk operations](/api-reference/management-api/bulk-operation/list) for `status`/`progress`. `400` for an invalid `operation` value, or a missing `folder`/`pattern_info` for the chosen operation.

<Warning>
  `delete` is irreversible for QR Codes that don't support soft-delete recovery in your plan — confirm the target selection before calling with `operation: "delete"`.
</Warning>
