# Get the latest AI activity insight

> GET /user-logs/activity-insight/

Retrieves the account's most recent weekly activity insight, on the **Management API** host (`api.scanova.io`), authenticated with your raw Management API key.

```
GET https://api.scanova.io/user-logs/activity-insight/
Authorization: 401f7ac837da42b97f613d789819ff93537bee6a
```

<RequestExample>
  ```bash cURL theme={null}
  curl "https://api.scanova.io/user-logs/activity-insight/" \
    -H "Authorization: 401f7ac837da42b97f613d789819ff93537bee6a"
  ```
</RequestExample>

<ResponseExample>
  ```json 200 theme={null}
  {
    "id": 55,
    "period_start": "2026-08-31",
    "period_end": "2026-09-06",
    "ai_response": {
      "summary": ["You created 6 QR codes this week, up from an average of 2."],
      "insights": ["A shared user (member@scanova.io) logged in for the first time this week."],
      "anomalies_explained": ["QR creation spiked mid-week, likely tied to a new campaign."],
      "recommendations": ["Consider tagging the new QR codes for easier filtering later."]
    },
    "total_tokens": 412,
    "generated_at": "2026-09-07T02:15:03Z"
  }
  ```
</ResponseExample>

<Note>
  Insights are generated out-of-band on a weekly schedule, not on request — this endpoint always returns the most recently generated one, ignoring any id. `404` if no insight has been generated yet for the account (e.g. a brand-new account, or before the first weekly run).
</Note>

When nothing notable happened that week, `ai_response` falls back to a templated (non-AI-generated) summary rather than calling the underlying model — `total_tokens: 0` indicates a templated response; a nonzero value indicates a genuinely AI-generated one.
