POST
Folders group QR codes for organization — the same folders shown in the dashboard’s QR Codes > Folders sidebar. Use this endpoint to list an account’s folders or create a new one from your own systems.
Both operations require a Management API key with MANAGEMENT_API (or MANAGEMENT_API_SANDBOX) quota, sent as the raw Authorization header value. See the Management API overview for authentication details.
string
required
Folder name, up to 150 characters. Must be unique for this account within the given folder_type — a duplicate returns a 400 with {"name": ["Folder name already exists."]}.
string
Hex color, e.g. #4F6BF4.
string
default:"qr"
qr or page.
Creating a folder requires the account’s FOLDER_MANAGEMENT quota (folder-management is a paid capability on some plans) — a 403 with "Your plan does not have folder management quota." means the plan doesn’t include it. Listing folders has no such gate.

Authorizations

Authorization
string
header
required

Send your Management API key as the raw value of the Authorization header — no "Bearer " or "Token " prefix, and no other characters. Example: Authorization: 401f7ac837da42b97f613d789819ff93537bee6a. A header containing more than one space-separated part is rejected outright. Requests also require the request's Host header to be the management API host (e.g. management.scanova.io) — the same key sent to the regular API host will not authenticate.
