PATCH
Renames a folder, changes its color, or changes its folder_type. Accepts PUT as well as PATCH — send only the fields you want to change.
Requires the account’s FOLDER_MANAGEMENT quota and the FOLDER_CAN_CREATE_AND_MANAGE permission (the same gate as Create a folder, checked for quota existence only — not the remaining-count check a create runs). See the Management API overview for authentication details.
integer
required
Folder ID.
string
New name, up to 150 characters. Must stay unique for this account within the folder’s folder_type — renaming to a name already used by another folder of the same folder_type returns 400 with {"name": ["Folder name already exists."]}. A qr folder and a page folder may share a name.
string
Hex color, e.g. #4F6BF4, or null to clear it.
string
qr or page.
404 if id isn’t owned by this account.

Authorizations

Authorization
string
header
required

Send your Management API key as the raw value of the Authorization header — no "Bearer " or "Token " prefix, and no other characters. Example: Authorization: 401f7ac837da42b97f613d789819ff93537bee6a. A header containing more than one space-separated part is rejected outright. Requests also require the request's Host header to be the management API host (e.g. api.scanova.io) — the same key sent to the regular API host will not authenticate.
