Put an age gate in front of a QR Code’s landing page, asking each scanner for a date of birth before the content behind the code is ever shown to them.
Age restriction gates a Dynamic QR Code’s content behind a date-of-birth prompt — anyone who scans it must confirm they’re at least a minimum age before the destination loads. It’s a per-QR toggle, available wherever Advanced settings live: the Publish panel while creating a Dynamic QR Code, or the Settings tab of an already-published one.
Age restriction is only available on Dynamic QR Codes. Publishing a Static QR Code (like Wi-Fi or Contact Card) shows a notice instead — “Advanced settings need a Dynamic QR Code” — since Static codes have no server-side step to enforce a gate at.
Open the QR Code and go to Settings. Under Security & Access, find Age restriction — “Restrict content for users below a certain age. Users will be prompted to enter their date of birth to continue.”

Turn on the toggle
Switching Age restriction on immediately expands a Minimum Age field, defaulting to 18.

Set the minimum age and save
Enter the minimum age and click Save. The field’s helper text confirms: “Users must be at least this age to view the content.”

Turning the toggle off at any point removes the gate — no confirmation step, no save needed beyond the toggle itself.
The same control is available before publishing: in the Publish panel, open the Advanced tab, find Age restriction under Security & Access, and turn it on the same way. It saves along with the rest of the QR Code when you click Publish.
